Main objectives
EACREEE aims to create an enabling environment for renewable energy and energy efficiency markets and investments, in order to contribute to: - Increased access to modern, affordable and reliable energy services - Energy security - Mitigation of negative effects (e.g. local pollution and GHG emissions) EACREEE aims to create an enabling environment for renewable energy and energy efficiency by mitigating existing barriers and in promoting a competitive sustainable energy market, as well as economies of scale.

Main activities
EACREEE’s activities are focused on the areas of policy and capacity development, knowledge management, awareness raising, and investment and business promotion. In these areas, regional programmes, projects and activities will be implemented, and donor coordination and harmonization enhanced. The Centre further acts as a regional hub for the Sustainable Energy for ALL (SEforALL) initiative.
