Main objectives
Improved long-term supply of affordable, reliable and sustainable energy throughout Tanzania.

Main activities
Improvements in the sector policy framework, the design of state support mechanisms and the involvement of the private sector to provide expertise. To build up technical knowledge and skills nationwide, the project works with multipliers such as associations and educational institutions, and supports pilot implementation activities.
