Main objectives
The objective is to promote economic growth and reduce social inequalities by giving access to electricity to 367,800 persons, including 97,800 from rural areas

Main activities
Extend the electricity supply to 14 new neighbourhoods of Niamey, to 30 new rural towns and 88 new villages; interrup three isolated centrals to achieve savings and diminish negative impacts on environment; support financially Nigelec to extend the middle and low voltage networks, and create new bond lines allowing to stop the thermal diesel-based production; support for the creation of a financial model to allow Nigelec to improve the financial management and serve as a platform of communication with the Nigerien government and technical and financial partners.
