Main objectives
Improvement of sustainable management of forest resources contributes to poverty reduction, economic growth and environmental protection. The gap between the supply and demand of woody biomass is reduced.

Main activities
Support to improve the sustainable management of forest resources through the development and implementation of forest management plans at the district level and to strengthen the performance of forest related public and private actors. Government of Rwanda (€ 8,000,000) and Belgium (€ 3,000,000)
