Main objectives
The conditions for public and private sector investment in electrification through renewable energies are improved.

Main activities
Focus on the market segments mini-grids and IPPs. Key components: (i) policy and regulation; (ii) institutional capacities of public and private sector; (iii) RE-tendering and PPP-models; in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, GIZ also supports the sustainable cooking energy.
