Main objectives
To facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology between China and Ghana, by building on China’s unique experience in renewable energy development via south-south cooperation

Main activities
The project operates both at the upstream level (supporting the creation of an enabling environment for technology transfer) and downstream level (actual transfer and demonstration of technologies with potential up scaling by the private sector). The planned support focuses on the institutional framework and capacity required to make the local absorption of renewable energy technologies effective, and to provide a boost for socio-economic development through technology research, development, transfer and training.
