Main objectives
This fund of funds, seeks to provide access to sustainable energy and increase energy efficiency in developing countries and economies in transition.

Main activities
- Invests in funds targeting projects in emerging markets that qualify as recipients for ODA - focuses on funds developing small to medium-sized renewable energy and energy efficiency projects - GEEREF's funds concentrate on infrastructure projects that generate clean power through proven technologies with low risk. - GEEREF had invested in 6 funds across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean as of December 2014.
