Main objectives
Contribute substantially to the ambitious political objectives of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) to increase access to modern energy services and accelerate the use of renewable energy in Africa by promoting renewable energy market development

Main activities

- Policy advisory services (country, regional and thematic studies and dialogue events)

- Private sector cooperation (organisation of match-making events, provision of basic information on project preparation and financing support mechanisms, market studies)

- Access to finance (operational in 02/2016; support to renewable energy project preparation and linking services with financing instruments)

- Skills development
